Denk je aan Zeeland, dan denk je waarschijnlijk aan zee, strand, Concert at SEA en Bl\u00f8f. Maar wist je ook dat je hier kilometers lang stuitert over kasseistroken, het grind onder je banden hoort wegspatten en je vrijwel nooit een stoplicht tegenkomt? Hoewel de wind hier vrij spel heeft, is het een prachtige fietsprovincie. In West-Zeeuws-Vlaanderen vind je drie MTB-routes; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mtbroutes.nl\/zeeland\/ijzendijke\">IJzendijke<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zeeland.com\/nl-nl\/visit\/827_nl\/mtb-route-sluis\">Sluis <\/a>und <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zeeland.com\/nl-nl\/visit\/810_nl\/mtb-grensstreek-rode-lus#:~:text=Deze%20mtb%2Droute%20is%2035,stukje%20Zeeland%20vind%20je%20mountainbikeroutes.\">Grensstreek<\/a>. Deze routes brengen je op de stilste plekjes van het uitgestrekte polderlandschap, door schilderachtige dorpjes en langs historische vestingdijken. Hoewel ze bedacht zijn voor mountainbikers, zijn het juist de gravelaars die hier hun hart kunnen ophalen. Je fietst over landweggetjes, kasseistroken en gravelpaden, een soort Parijs-Roubaix en Strade Bianche ervaring in \u00e9\u00e9n dus! De wegen heb je bijna voor jezelf en er is alle ruimte om je hoofd leeg te maken. Zo is gravel in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen dichterbij dan je denkt.<\/p>\n<p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wij verblijven tijdens onze trip naar West-Zeeuws-Vlaanderen in de Flamingo Studios in Schoondijke. Een boer is druk bezig om ze te verzorgen. Als we stoppen om de lammetjes te bewonderen, maakt hij meteen een praatje met ons. Met z\u2019n sterke Zeeuwse accent vertelt hij trots dat er een vierling is geboren. \u201c<em>Dien enen die met die groenen streep op z\u2019n rug, die ha\u2019k al aan de fles<\/em>\u201d, zegt hij terwijl hij naar een lammetje wijst. We kletsen nog wat over het leven als boer en over onze fietstocht. Als we weer op de fiets stappen, zegt hij \u201c<em>dag ee<\/em>\u201d. Ook steden als Antwerpen en Gent zijn niet ver weg. Bourgondisch leven en lekker eten zitten in de cultuur. Wist je dat je in Zeeland de meeste sterrenrestaurants per inwoner vindt? Maar je vindt er ook hippe beachclubs en gezellige brasseries waar je de smaak van Zeeland op je bord proeft. En met het meeste aantal zonuren van Nederland, zit je met een beetje mazzel met een biertje op het terras. Dit waren onze favorieten:<\/p>\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ziltenzoutcadzand.nl\/\">Zilt &amp; Zout<\/a> (Retranchement)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\n\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kleinschalig, persoonlijk en hier wordt net dat stapje extra gezet. Van Liefs Lies gaat menig vrouwenhart sneller kloppen.
