Het fietsvakantie seizoen is in volle gang. Daarmee komen een hoop kansen voor prachtige avonturen, maar toch zul je ook rekening moeten houden met de wetten en regels op de weg. Vijf fietsregels die je echt moet onthouden en waar je ook echt even van achter je oren zult krabben. Want, wis jij dat je het in Itali\u00eb verboden is om met een aap op je stuur te rijden? Nee he? Wij ook niet. Wetten en regels hebben een functie. Toch zijn er in de EU een paar ongebruikelijke en humoristische fietswetten die zeker een lach op je gezicht kunnen toveren. Hier zijn enkele van de grappigste regels die je in de Europese Unie kunt tegenkomen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belgi\u00eb – Belplicht<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We maken maar wat graag grappen over onze zuiderburen. Toch is dit geen grapje, want veiligheid in het verkeer is best belangrijk. In Belgi\u00eb zijn fietsers wettelijk verplicht om een werkende bel op hun fiets te hebben. Het kleinood dient natuurlijk om jezelf kenbaar te maken en je kunt er vast en zeker ook een mooie symfonie mee maken. Maar toch lijkt het ons wel vervelend als je een weekendje Ardennen<\/a> moet bekopen met een boete voor het niet hebben van een bel. Tip: dit is de meest simpele, maar effectieve oplossing. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Italie – Geen aap op het stuur<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Deze is misschien wel het meest bizar. Je mag explicitiet in Itali\u00eb<\/a> geen AAP<\/strong> op je stuur hebben zitten. We kennen natuurlijk de inmiddels overleden Michele Scarponi die wel eens met een papegaai rondreed. Waarom deze regel zo expliciet beschreven is, blijft een raadsel. Het zal er wel mee te maken hebben dat ze graag zowel mens als dier willen beschermen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Frankrijk – Verplichte reflectie<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In Frankrijk zijn fietsers verplicht reflecterende kleding te dragen als ze ’s nachts rijden. Hoewel het de bedoeling is om de zichtbaarheid en veiligheid te verbeteren, kan het beeld van fietsers die rondtrappen in felle, reflecterende kleding best amusant zijn. Duitsland – Verbod op “zinkende” fietsen:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In sommige delen van Duitsland is er een grappige wet die fietsers verbiedt om hun fiets opzettelijk in het water te laten verdwijnen. Hoewel de wet oorspronkelijk bedoeld was om te voorkomen dat mensen gestolen fietsen in de rivier of in een meer te gooien, kun je je voorstellen dat mocht je een onvrijwillige duik maken vanwege een valpartij, dat je achteraf ook nog een bonnetje af mag tikken. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Griekenland – Geen zondagsrijders<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In Griekenland is het verboden om op zondagen en op feestdagen op drukke wegen rond te rijden op de fiets. Wat nu de scheiding tussen een drukke en een rustige weg is, dat blijft nog even onduidelijk. Want het is de bedoeling dat het zorgt voor minder filevorming. Maar de fiets past eigenlijk overal tussendoor. Met de problemen die Athene heeft, zal het vast en zeker daar vandaan komen. Maar toch: fietsen en zondag zijn voor velen een gouden combi, dus waarom dit nu weer is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grappig of een duur grapje?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Hoewel deze wetten misschien grappig lijken, zijn ze nog steeds afdwingbaar. Geen bel<\/a> in Belgi\u00eb? Je riskeert een boete. Je zal maar een platte pet hebben, die er druk mee is. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
