Mit drei Etappen, die durch Nordspanien f\u00fchren, wird es ein gro\u00dfes Fest des Radsports im Allgemeinen und des Radsports im Baskenland im Besonderen sein. Schon jetzt konnte man die <a href=\"https:\/\/cyclingdestination.cc\/de\/verhalen\/spanje\/rondje-baskenland-grand-depart-deel-i\/\">Vorschau auf die erste Etappe<\/a> in diesem Medium zu sehen. Heute pr\u00e4sentieren wir auch Teil zwei, wieder mit den au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlichen Einblicken von Haimar Zubeldia. Lesen Sie auch den Bericht dar\u00fcber, wie wir die Etappe erlebt haben, die wir (witzigerweise) zuerst in die entgegengesetzte Richtung gefahren sind. Nicht unbedeutend, aber definitiv lustig! Ein paar Wolken, hier und da etwas Sonne, ein bisschen Wind. Unvorhersehbar, obwohl alles darauf hindeutet, dass es zumindest nicht regnen wird. Das ist ein Vorteil. Heute steht die Strecke der zweiten Etappe auf dem Programm, mit einer Besichtigung der Fabrik von Etxeondo. Der lokale Hersteller von hochwertiger Kleidung \u00f6ffnet uns seine T\u00fcren. Die Route f\u00fchrt uns \u00fcber den H\u00fcgel, der San Sebastian umgibt, in Richtung Irura. Die Stra\u00dfe ist h\u00fcgelig, genau wie auf Etappe 1. Ich kann die gr\u00fcnen H\u00fcgel sehen, wo ich in Gedanken die baskischen Kletterer hochschie\u00dfen sehe. Der Anstieg tr\u00e4gt den Namen des Dorfes, zu dem wir hinauffahren. Mit knapp f\u00fcnf Kilometern sch\u00f6nem baskischem Asphalt in einer h\u00fcgeligen Umgebung ist dies eine sch\u00f6ne Einstimmung auf den letzten Anstieg dieser Etappe, den Jaizkibel. Der Jaizkibel hat einen kleinen steilen Abschnitt von etwa 500 Metern, der im Durchschnitt \u00fcber 10 Prozent liegt, aber ansonsten ist es eher ein Spaziergang. Der Gipfel, der von einer kleinen Kirche, einem Dorfplatz und vor allem von Ruhe gepr\u00e4gt ist, bietet einen malerischen Anblick. Da meine Reisebegleiter noch nie hier waren und wir auch einige Aufnahmen mit Haimar machen, bekommen wir eine F\u00fchrung durch die Fabrik, bei der uns Patxi Rodrigo alles erkl\u00e4rt. Die Geschichte des Heuhaufens, des 'etxxe ondo' (das Haus in der N\u00e4he), fesselt nun wieder unsere Fantasie. Die harte Arbeit und das \"Sparen f\u00fcr sp\u00e4ter\", die der Heuhaufen symbolisiert, spiegeln sich in der Sorgfalt und Qualit\u00e4t der Kleidung wider. Was ebenfalls auff\u00e4llt: die Loyalit\u00e4t der Mitarbeiter, denn so manche Dame oder mancher Herr arbeitet schon seit Jahren f\u00fcr diesen Hersteller. Werte wie \"Familie\", \"Aufmerksamkeit\" und \"tun, was man sagt, sagen, was man tut\" sind allgegenw\u00e4rtig. Die Etappe selbst beginnt viel fr\u00fcher in Vitoria-Gasteiz, dann geht es durch die Ebenen und H\u00fcgel, vorbei am Park mit dem Aixkori, dem h\u00f6chsten Berg des Baskenlandes. Die wichtigsten Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeiten im Park, <a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.euskadi.eus\/en\/natural-areas\/aizkorri-aratz-natural-park\/aa30-12375\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Aizkorri-Aratz<\/a> finden Sie vor allem IN den H\u00fcgeln, wo Sie H\u00f6hlen und alte r\u00f6mische Wege finden. Auch dies wird auf der Tour f\u00fcr manch sch\u00f6nes Bild sorgen. In der N\u00e4he von O\u00f1ati, auf der Nordseite des Parks, befindet sich ein sch\u00f6ner Anstieg mit malerischen Haarnadelkurven. Er eignet sich hervorragend zum Radfahren, da er nicht zu steil ist, und ist ein weiterer gro\u00dfartiger Ort, um Drohnenaufnahmen zu machen. Auf dem Weg dorthin gibt es einige weitere, manchmal nicht markierte Anstiege. Wenn man ins Land hineinschaut, sieht man die bereits erw\u00e4hnten Heuballen und den Etxe Ondo, der ebenfalls vorbeizieht. Steven und Stijn haben einen Riesenspa\u00df. Die Clasica San Sebastian, wie sie viele kennen, ist ein reizvolles Rennen, gleich nach der Tour de France, das die H\u00f6hepunkte des Baskenlandes umfasst. Im Mittelpunkt steht dabei immer der Anstieg zum Jaizkibel. Auch bei dieser Etappe steht der Anstieg zum Jaizkibel im Mittelpunkt. Anders als bei der Clasica fahren die Tour-Fahrer den Anstieg in umgekehrter Richtung. Als wir am Fu\u00dfe des Anstiegs ankommen, ist es bereits sp\u00e4ter Nachmittag. Wir sehen \u00e4ltere und j\u00fcngere Fahrer, die noch eine Weile in die Pedale treten. Haimar betont: \"Viele Fahrer machen dies als Abendfahrt, noch einen Abend auf den Jaizkibel und dann nach Hause. Er besteht aus zwei Teilen, wobei der erste Abschnitt recht leicht ansteigt. Nach drei Kilometern, bei der \"Guadelupe\", geht es steil bergauf. Die letzten viereinhalb Kilometer sind die schmerzhaftesten, da sie einen Ausrei\u00dfer mit 11 % und einen b\u00f6sartigen Kilometer mit durchschnittlich 9 % enthalten. Im Rennen wird dies die Entscheidung sein. F\u00fcr Fahrer wie dich und mich ist es eine schwei\u00dftreibende Angelegenheit. Haimar macht sich \u00fcber mich lustig, indem er es auf das \u00e4u\u00dfere Blatt wirft und mit geschlossenem Mund vorbeirennt. Der Junge im Baskenland ist immer noch da. Es zeigt auch wieder, was der Unterschied zwischen der Weltspitze und den gew\u00f6hnlichen Amateuren ist. An der Spitze ist es tats\u00e4chlich angenehm. Bei dieser Reise sind wir die Strecken manchmal etwas anders gefahren als das Peloton. Trotzdem sind wir gro\u00dfe Streckenabschnitte gefahren und konnten uns ein gutes Bild von den Etappen machen.
