Nadat Shimano vorige week al een terugroepactie in Amerika en Canada had aangekondigd, volgt nu de aankondiging voor andere werelddelen, waaronder ook de Benelux. Precieze getallen zijn niet bekend maar het zou gaan om bijna 2,8 miljoen (!) crankstellen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cranksets geproduceerd tussen 1 juni 2012 en 30 juni 2019<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De terugroepactie betreft 11-speed Hollowtech II Crankstellen geproduceerd tussen 1 juni 2012 en 30 juni 2019, voor Dura-Ace en Ultegra groepsets, te weten de volgende sets:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ultegra FC-6800, <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ultegra FC-R8000, <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dura-Ace FC-9000, <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dura-Ace, FC-R9100 <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dura-Ace FR-R9100-P<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"13155\" src=\"https:\/\/cyclingdestination.cc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/504229-5-Cranks-inc-text_1920x1080px-bab755-original-1695376869-1024x576.webp\" alt=\"Shimano 11-speed cranksets - recall Hollowtech II\" class=\"wp-image-13155\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eigenaren van een groepset met de betreffende crankstellen kunnen zich melden bij een <a href=\"https:\/\/cutt.ly\/shimanoservicecenter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Shimano Servicecenter<\/a> of Shimano Dealer die een inspectie uit zal voeren op het crankstel om te kijken of er sprake is van het bovengenoemde defect. Enkel bij defect wordt het crankstel vervangen. Het betreft hier dus ook geen omruilactie maar een vrijwillige inspectie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Moet mijn crankstel gecheckt worden?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Om erachter te komen of jouw crankstel gecheckt moet worden heeft Shimano een stappenplan uitgetekend. Het is in het kort als volgt:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check het modelnummer.  Dat doe je op de crank, zoals onder op het plaatje<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valt jouw modelnummer binnen de eerder genoemde nummers? <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Zo ja, check dan de productiecode. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>De volgende productie codes zijn van voor 1 juli 2019: KF, KG, KH, KI, KJ, KK, KL, LA, LB, LC, LD, LE, LF, LG, LH, LI, LJ, LK, LL, MA, MB, MC, MD, ME, MF, MG, MH, MI, MJ, MK, ML, NA, NB, NC, ND, NE, NF, NG, NH, NI, NJ, NK, NL, OA, OB, OC, OD, OE, OF, OG, OH, OI, OJ, OK, OL, PA, PB, PC, PD, PE, PF, PG, PH, PI, PJ, PK, PL, QA, QB, QC, QD, QE, QF, QG, QH, QI, QJ, QK, QL, RA, RB, RC, RD, RE, RF. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heb je een modelnummer met een van de bovengenoemde productiecodes?
