Mijn goud met zwarte muiltjes van Italiaanse makelij doen het al een tijd erg goed maar zijn ook wel weer is aan vervanging toe. Voor CyclingDestination mocht ik de Eko\u00ef C4 racefietsschoenen testen. In het wit dus, maar gelukkig wel met wat zwarte accenten. Dat deze schoen gericht is op performance zie je meteen. De zool is gemaakt van carbon en is alles behalve buigzaam. De schoenen worden gesloten met het Atop sluitsysteem, wat altijd erg fijn werkt en geen vervelende drukpunten geeft. Wat ook direct opvalt is de strakke look, ik snap wel waarom witte schoenen de standaard zijn. Zoals ik al noemde rijd ik eigenlijk alleen met Italiaase schoenen met bijbehorende smalle leest. Ik heb dan ook vrij smalle voeten en veel schoenen zijn voor mij te breed. Bij het passen van de Eko\u00ef\u2019s merk ik meteen dat de hiel erg smal zit, en met de anti slip stof aan de binnenkant beweeg je hier totaal niet in. De voorkant is voor mij aan de brede kant maar ik ga het toch proberen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Aanpasen en gaan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mijn eerste rit is vooral wennen, schoenplaatjes helemaal goed afstellen en aanpassen aan de nieuwe houding. De zool is knetterstijf, iets wat ik zelf erg prettig vind aangezien ik een performance-gerichte fietser ben. De krachtoverbrenging is perfect, maar naast de fiets merk je dat deze schoenen niet gemaakt zijn om op te lopen. Omdat de voorkant net iets te breed is merk ik bij volle bak sprinten dat ik iets schuif. Het bovenwerk is gemaakt van licht mesh met genoeg ventilatie, naast de drie ventilatiegaten in de zool. De meegeleverde binnenzool is erg dun, zelf heb ik custom zooltjes dus hier geen last van maar steun haal je niet uit de meegeleverde zool. Ook miste ik wat geleidestreepjes bij het monteren van de schoenplaatjes, al zaten deze vrij goed op de plek na \u00e9\u00e9n rit. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eko\u00ef C4 Racefietsschoenen voor iedereen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Inmiddels heb ik een km of 500 met deze schoenen gereden, en ze bevallen me nog steeds prima. Zeker in korte sprint-achtige trainingen heb ik liever een wat strakkere schoen, maar op duurritten vind ik de bredere voorkant eigenlijk wel prettig. Schoenen moet je altijd zelf ervaren, elke voet is uniek, maar deze <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ekoi.com\">Eko\u00ef<\/a> C4 biedt een hoop performance voor een schappelijke prijs. Wat mij betreft zijn ze een goede toevoeging aan mijn schoenencollectie!
