En wat je ook wil zeggen over klimaat, kou of iets anders: de natuur in Zweden is schitterend. Het land staat bekend als extreem relaxed. Niet voor niks dat veel fietsers graag een rondje maken in het land van IKEA, Kn\u00e4ckebrod en Pippi. Het uiterste noorden van Zweden is al te koud om te fietsen. Uiteraard zijn er die-hards die daar natuurlijk helemaal wild van worden. In het zuiden van Zweden is er een relatief mild klimaat en kun je van maart tot oktober heerlijk op twee wielen uit de voeten. Wij zoomden even wat dieper in op de <a href=\"https:\/\/sydostleden-sydkustleden.se\/en\">South Sweden Trails<\/a>. 900 kilometer puur fiets plezier verdeeld in drie routes die je ook afzonderlijk kan fietsen. Let&#8217;s get rolling! Als je met het vliegtuig reist, dan is Goteborg een logische start, maar met de auto zou Helsingborg of Malm\u00f6 juist weer logischer zijn. Mocht je de complete route van de <a href=\"https:\/\/southswedentrails.com\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/southswedentrails.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">South Sweden Trails<\/a> willen rijden, dan is het handig om \u00f3f in V\u00e4xj\u00f6 of in G\u00f6teborg te starten. Anders wordt het rommelig. De trails bestaan dus uit drie verschillende routes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Kattegatsleden: deze route volgt eigenlijk de kust bij het Kattegat, van G\u00f6teborg naar Helsingborg (of andersom)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/cyclingdestination.cc\/de\/verhalen\/zweden\/fietsen-in-zuid-zweden-sydkustleden\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"2271\">Sydkustleden<\/a>: hier volg je de zuidkust, tussen Helsingborg, via Malm\u00f6 naar Simrishamn<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/cyclingdestination.cc\/de\/verhalen\/south-sweden-trails-deel-iii-simrishamn-vaxjo\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"2593\">Sydostleden<\/a>: deze route brengt je van Simrishamn uiteindelijk naar V\u00e4xj\u00f6, het eindpunt. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We gaan in dit artikel een mooi stukje langs het Kattegat verkennen. In deel 2 en deel 3 van deze serie pakken we de andere delen van de South Sweden Trails mee. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Startpunt Goteborg: Kattegatsleden<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vanuit G\u00f6teborg is het zuidwaarts langs de kust. De route is vooral natuurtechnisch schitterend. Het is voor Nederlandse begrippen zelfs een beetje heuvelachtig, alhoewel je enkel bij Bastad een echte klim tegen kunt komen. Daar is het dan ook wel 7% tot 14% stijging, dus geen kattepis. Dit is ook wel het moeilijkste stuk. Voor de rest is het heerlijk rollen langs het water. Op de eerste 100 kilometer is het zeker de moeite waard om te stoppen bij het enige Tudor kastel van Zweden: Tjol\u00f6holm. Schitterende vergezichten, strandjes, en niet te vergeten de kuuroorden in de buurt van Varberg. ALs je verder rijdt, kom je op een gegeven moment ook nog een mooi stukje Holland in Zweden tegen: de molen van Sardal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De weg is overwegend goed, met hier en daar een stukje onverhard. Niet iets waar je direct wakker van hoeft te liggen op je racefiets. Op de gravelbike is het eigenlijk net te weinig. Wat natuurlijk wel leuk is om te vermelden, is dat deze route verkozen is tot Fietsroute van het jaar in 2018. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De route is officieel opgeknipt in 8 verschillende sectoren, die gemiddeld 50 kilometer lang zijn. Voor de wat fanatiekere fietser is het goed mogelijk om meerdere sectoren te combineren in \u00e9\u00e9n dag.
