De route volgt voor een groot deel de <strong>G\u00f6ta-kanaal<\/strong> en voert langs meren en door bos, met een mix van ongeveer 70 procent gravel, 29 procent asfalt en een kort trailgedeelte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De inschrijving <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vatternrundan.se\/en\/races\/gravel\">is geopend sinds 9 april<\/a>, met een early-bird tarief beschikbaar tot 21 april. Van daaruit gaat de route naar <strong>Borensberg<\/strong> langs <strong>Meer Boren<\/strong>, dan langs meer dan 20 kilometer van de <strong>G\u00f6ta-kanaal<\/strong>. Onderweg passeer je de sluzencomplexen bij <strong>Borenshult<\/strong> und <strong>Berg<\/strong>. De route voert door het <strong>Stj\u00e4rnorp<\/strong>-gebied met uitzichten op het <strong>Meer Roxen<\/strong> (noord). Het eindpunt is de ru\u00efne van <strong>Stj\u00e4rnorp-kasteel<\/strong> aan het meer, waarna je terugkeert naar Motala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Het terrein is overwegend vlak. De route is toegankelijk voor veel verschillende fietsers, ongeacht of je een dedicated gravelfiets, mountainbike, cyclocrossfiets of zelfs een ouderwetse stadsfiets hebt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Zes steunposten en vier tempo-indeelgroepen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De organisatie heeft zes aid stations langsheen de route ingericht. Deelnemers kunnen zich inschrijven voor een van vier zelf-gekozen tempo-indeelgroepen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Advanced<\/strong> (onder 3:40 uur, &gt;32 km\/h)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tough<\/strong> (onder 4:40 uur, &gt;25 km\/h)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Medium<\/strong> (onder 5:40 uur, &gt;20 km\/h)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Moderate<\/strong> (onder 7 uur, &gt;15 km\/h)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>De startvenster loopt van 9:30 tot ongeveer 10:10 uur. Er gelden slottijden per steunpost: <strong>Kolstorp<\/strong> sluit om 12:00, <strong>Berg<\/strong> om 15:30, <strong>Skedevi<\/strong> om 17:30, en de finish in Motala om 19:30. Deelnemers moeten elke steunpost bereiken minstens 20 minuten voordat die dichtgaat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Praktische details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De minimum leeftijd is het jaar waarin je 15 wordt. Bibnummers kunnen opgehaald worden op <strong>vrijdag 11 september<\/strong> en op race-dag vanaf 07:30 tot 15 minuten voor je starttijd aan het <strong>Motala Idrottspark<\/strong> (Bang\u00e5rdsgatan 3). Douches en kleedkamers zijn beschikbaar op dezelfde locatie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De pioneer-korting bedraagt <strong>850 SEK<\/strong> en is geldig tot 21 april. Daarna stijgt de prijs naar 950 SEK (tot 7 september), dan 1.250 SEK (8 september tot race-dag) en bij inschrijving ter plekke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Waarom dit moment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>V\u00e4tternrundan positioneert gravel als &#8220;een van de heetste trends in wielrennen&#8221; en ziet de G\u00f6ta-kanaal als een van de beste wielroutes ter wereld. Door een recreational gravel-event toe te voegen, breidt het merk zijn seizoen uit en trekt het nieuwe types fietsers aan.
