Nicht nur wegen der 152 Kilometer langen Hin- und R\u00fcckfahrt von Kalamata, verbunden mit 1800 H\u00f6henmetern. Die damit einhergehenden Temperaturen zwischen 30 und 36 Grad machen es noch schwieriger, als es ohnehin schon ist. Fair ist fair, das ist es absolut wert!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Griechischer Kaffeekult<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ich muss mir jetzt etwas von der Seele reden. Ich liebe die griechische Kaffeekultur absolut. Dort gibt es nicht nur wahnsinnig gute Espressi, sondern auch eine fantastische Stimmung. In Italien zum Beispiel wird der Espresso fast im Vorbeigehen getrunken. Die Griechen nehmen sich wirklich Zeit, um ihren Kaffee zu genie\u00dfen. Der soziale Aspekt ist dort viel wichtiger, ebenso wie die entspannte Atmosph\u00e4re. Bevor wir das Meer erreichen, \u00fcberwinden wir ein paar reizvolle H\u00fcgel. Dann folgen wir der K\u00fcstenlinie und zu unserer Rechten gibt es eine Vielzahl kleiner versteckter Str\u00e4nde und Buchten, in denen man sich entspannen kann. Eine Runde entlang der K\u00fcste ist immer sch\u00f6n. Wir halten sehr oft an der Strecke an, um die Aussicht zu genie\u00dfen, Fotos zu machen, aber auch, um einen Kaffee mit einer lokalen Delikatesse zu trinken. Vor allem die Mengen an frischem Obst, die man auf der Fahrt kaufen kann, sind erstaunlich. Man kann es buchst\u00e4blich \u00fcberall bekommen, und es ist wirklich k\u00f6stlich. Es kommt direkt vom Lande. Weintrauben, Pfirsiche, Pflaumen, einfach alles. K\u00f6stlich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Schlie\u00dflich nehme ich auch kein Obst und keine Energieriegel mehr mit auf die Fahrt. Warum sollte ich auch? Nochmals ein gro\u00dfes Kompliment an die Jungs von Pedal Greece, die daf\u00fcr sorgen, dass wir die besten Stellen zu sehen bekommen. Sie weisen mich auch darauf hin, welche Fr\u00fcchte ich probieren sollte. Vielleicht liegt es an den fantastischen Bedingungen, dass alles fantastisch schmeckt. Es ist purer Luxus und diesmal sind wir so nah am Strand. Das ist genau mein Ding!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">KLEINES FINALE: ETAPPE 6, KAMPOS - LIMENI<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Am letzten Tag kann ich noch einen Punkt von meiner Bucket List streichen. Auf der 57 Kilometer langen Strecke sind nur 800 H\u00f6henmeter zu bew\u00e4ltigen. Aber das ist sicher nicht das Wichtigste. Wir beenden unsere Fahrt heute am Strand. Zum Abschluss ein erfrischendes Bad im Meer, nur in meiner Tr\u00e4gerhose. Das hatte ich noch nie gemacht. Dass es ein wahnsinniger H\u00f6hepunkt werden wird, ist kaum m\u00f6glich. Das ist das T\u00fcpfelchen auf dem \"i\". Etwas, das ich wahrscheinlich mein ganzes Leben lang nicht vergessen werde. Der schnelle Start bedeutet, dass wir etwas fr\u00fcher als erwartet an unserem ersten Halt ankommen. Ich kann mich an den schnellen Haarnadelkurven hier wirklich nicht satt sehen. Vor allem, wenn man nach jeder Kurve einen Blick auf das Mittelmeer hat. Nachdem wir wieder auf Meeresh\u00f6he angekommen sind, machen wir unseren ersten richtigen Halt. Wir entscheiden uns f\u00fcr eine kleine Bar in einer kleinen Bucht eines Dorfes namens Kardamylli. Dort g\u00f6nnen wir uns eine riesige hausgemachte Limonade. Das hat uns sehr geholfen, uns ein wenig abzuk\u00fchlen. Wieder werden wir mit sch\u00f6nen Aussichten verw\u00f6hnt, herausfordernden Haarnadelkurven und wir fahren im Grunde die ganze Strecke mit offenem Rei\u00dfverschluss und einer Menge Schwei\u00dftropfen am Lenker. Auf dem Gipfel angekommen, gibt es ein einfaches \"Gut gemacht\". Dann st\u00fcrze ich mich in den Abstieg. Wie ein echter Profi gebe ich alles. Vollgas. Ich halte nicht f\u00fcr Fotos an, keine Instagram-Stories. Ich bin v\u00f6llig in den Moment vertieft. Nur ich und die Stra\u00dfe vor mir. Und wieder ist niemand sonst in der N\u00e4he. Eine sanfte Linkskurve, eine scharfe Rechtskurve, eine weitere scharfe Linkskurve und eine herrliche Rechtskurve. Inzwischen h\u00f6re ich das Ger\u00e4usch von echter Geschwindigkeit.
