Just outside the village of Xal\u00f3\/Jal\u00f3n you will find the bed and breakfast of Jolanda and Hans Poortvliet. Since 2015, the former dancer and hospitality manager (ask them about their love story!) have been running a bed and breakfast with love and care in an old finca for anyone who wants to discover the beautiful surroundings of the Jal\u00f3n valley. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adults Only<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This adults-only B&B is ideal for (semi-)professional and recreational cyclists who can ride a range of fantastic routes from here on their race bikes. From the Coll de Rates to the Vall d\u2019Ebo, you\u2019ll find challenging climbs with breathtaking views. Think also of the Coll de Bernia (11 km \/ 4%) and the Port d\u2019Alcoleja (15 km \/ 4%). Not for nothing do more and more professional teams plan their training camps here in winter.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beautiful spaces<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The B&B of Hans and Jolanda has seven charming double rooms, one of which can also serve as a lockable space for bicycles. There is a professional bike rack where you can securely hang your steel frame bike. There is space to clean your bike, there is maintenance equipment available, and Hans and Jolanda have good contacts with the local bike rental companies, such as Alta Bike Rental and Allure Bike Rental<\/a> and Snakebite MTB Adventures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enjoying breakfast<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The breakfast in the communal greenhouse is well-prepared, and behind the greenhouse there is space where you can do your yoga or stretching session in the morning sun with views of almond trees and mountains. You can also use the B&B\u2019s yoga mats. Cooling off after a hot ride is also possible, with one larger pool and one so-called \u2018boiling pool\u2019. In the winter season, that\u2019s for the hardcore enthusiasts, because then the water temperature in the pools is still below ten degrees Celsius. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All in<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you come with a group of cycling friends, and you book all the rooms, you are also welcome to use the shared kitchen next to the conservatory for dinner. In addition, Hans and Jolanda will be happy to help you with tips for restaurants in the area. In the cozy-decorated conservatory, you can sit by the pallet stove on cool evenings with a good book or a game. Jolanda will, with great love, wash your cycling clothes, so you don\u2019t have to mess with your bib shorts and jerseys in the sink.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This bike-friendly B&B is located just 70 meters from the CV750 (the main road that runs through the valley and where the peloton passes by the \u2018front door\u2019 quite regularly).
