Colnago launches with the new G4-X a stunning new partner for your next cycling adventure<\/a>. According to the Italian brand (Tadej Pogacar's loyal associate), it builds on the G3-X, which was launched before the corona pandemic. A number of key upgrades make it a bike to savour, especially for gravel adventures, but also just to cycle on during a lap around the neighbourhood. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What's new<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Colnago is known for its attention to detail. Looking at the C:68 road bikes, which are handmade, you can imagine. For the G4-X too, a nice upgrade has been done with attention to detail. Compared to the G3-X, there is more space for the tyres. You can now stick up to 45 millimetres wide rubbers, which is 3mm more than before. Going on longer adventures? That's great, because the Colnago G4-X has multiple attachment points for bottles and bags. These lugs are indispensable on a good gravel bike. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speed, because you can<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Still, the Italians could not resist including aerodynamics in their offering. They opted for internal cabling, for instance, which is an aerodynamic but also aesthetic plus. In addition, the cockpit has been copied from the C:68 racer, with less drag being the dominant feature. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Five sizes, five group sets, three colours<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You can have the G4-X built with two Shimano GRX groupsets or with the SRAM FORCE, RIVAL or RED AXS groupsets. You can also choose from three different colour schemes. The popping ochre yellow, the stately dark green or an 'ice blue' variant. Sizing runs from 45 to 57, indicating a real choice of a compact bike that challenges you to go hard.
