World Mountain Bike Championship Valais 2025 in Crans-Montana<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The world championships in Valais are spread across several locations, but Crans-Montana is the place for all XCO competitions<\/strong>, from the juniors to the elites. The races will take place from 10 to 14 September 2025<\/strong>. A specially plotted lap of about 3.5 km with technical sections, punchy climbs and fast descents is the battleground. 1. You get to see the world's best mountain bikers race live.<\/strong> The atmosphere at World Cup races is unique, especially in the mountain scenery of Valais. You walk straight to the finish zone or a technical section along the course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. You ride yourself on the trails where the pros train.<\/strong> Many of the routes in the area are free to access. Take the gondola to Cry d'Er and pop down, or ride the XCO loop yourself afterwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The best routes in Crans-Montana to ride by yourself<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1. Cry d'Er Flowtrail<\/strong>
Smooth line with banked turns, suitable for any rider. Start at the top of the lift, 5 km descent pure fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. La Tieche Trail<\/strong>
Mid-range route with beautiful views and natural trails. About 24 km long with 700 altimeters. Nice as a day trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. XCO World Cup route<\/strong>
The course itself is short but intense. Climbs, rock gardens and technical descents alternate at high speed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Vermala Trail<\/strong>
A serious trek with over 1,000 altimeters, mix of forest, rocks and open stretches. Not for beginners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Bisse du Tsittoret<\/strong>
One of the most beautiful routes in the region, along historic irrigation canals overlooking the valley. Technically not difficult, but visually top notch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
