You don\u2019t have to travel far to get there. These seven routes are spread across the country, from the Gooi and the Zeeland coast to the Drenthe moors, and you can download all of them directly as GPX files.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. The Gooi: Gooisch Gravel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>104 km \u00b7 approx. 160 hm \u00b7 gravel \u00b7 start Laren<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Half an hour from Amsterdam lies one of the most beautiful gravel areas in the Netherlands. From Laren you drive through the meadows of the Gooi, through the forests of Lage Vuursche and past Hilversum and Naarden, and back via Huizen and Blaricum. Utrecht Hills: Soesterberg Air Base<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>64 km \u00b7 approx. 180 hm \u00b7 gravel \u00b7 start Soesterberg<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Start at the old air base of Soesterberg, where the National Military Museum now stands, and drive over the Utrecht Hills via Woudenberg, Driebergen and Doorn to Leusden and the outskirts of Amersfoort. Sand paths, manor houses and forests, with just enough hills to make you feel like you\u2019re climbing. Utrecht Hills: Follow the Stigterpad<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>66.5 km \u00b7 approx. 180 hm \u00b7 gravel \u00b7 starting station Driebergen-Zeist<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Get off the train in Driebergen-Zeist and you\u2019ll be riding on sandy paths between the estates and forests of the Heuvelrug within five minutes. Achterhoek: gravel from Landal De Weelderik<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>98.9 km \u00b7 almost flat \u00b7 gravel \u00b7 start Landal De Weelderik<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Almost one hundred kilometers of unpaved terrain through the hilly landscape of the Achterhoek, partly along the routes of Gravelrides.cc. Nijmegen: all the peaks of the Reichswald<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>46.4 km \u00b7 approx. 410 hm \u00b7 gravel \u00b7 start Groesbeek<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just across the border near Nijmegen lies the Reichswald, and this round covers all the official peaks that the forest has to offer. Zeeland-West Flanders: a salty gravel adventure<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>112.8 km \u00b7 almost flat \u00b7 gravel \u00b7 start Sluis<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over 110 kilometers along dykes, polder roads and hedgerows between Sluis, the coast and the Belgian border. Drenthe\/Friesland: Hunerwoldstate \u2013 Fochtelo\u00ebrveen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>47.7 km \u00b7 virtually flat \u00b7 gravel \u00b7 start Landal Hunerwoldstate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From Landal Hunerwoldstate you drive through forests and meadows on the border between Drenthe and Friesland to the moorland of the Fochtelo\u00ebrveen.
