Marathon of the Dolomites

The Maratona dles Dolomites is one of the most famous granfondos in the world: it takes place around the Sella Group, passing through the Pordoi, Sella, Gardena, Campolongo and Giau passes, on roads free of traffic in the Dolomites. There are three distances: the Sellaronda (55 km), the intermediate (106 km) and the full Maratona (138 km, over 4,200 meters of elevation gain). Participation is by lottery.
