Three routes, one event village and a 600km ultra with 80 hours. The Jeroboam Gravel Series 2026 is all about Bergamo, and sign-ups are open.
Reverb Cycling has opened registration for the Jeroboam Gravel Series 2026. The weekend of 17–18 July 2026 takes place from Santini Village at Bergamo, which serves as the start, finish and base for all three routes: 75 km, 150 km and 600 km. Registration closes on 17 July 2026.
Bergamo – three distances from Santini Village
One base camp, three different rides. Santini Village It features a race pack collection point, an exhibition, a food court, music and briefings. Everything in one place, without the hassle of multiple start locations. The programme makes for a complete gravel weekend for riders of all abilities.
Which route is for whom?
The 150 km is probably the happy medium for most readers here. The route crosses the Imagna, Brembana and Seriana valleys, with around 2,500 metres of elevation gain and a split of roughly 60% off-road and 40% on tarmac. Physically demanding, but rideable without any technical skills. A tough day in the saddle, set against the backdrop of the Italian mountains.
The 75 km is the entry-level option. Non-technical gravel, secondary roads and a route through the countryside around Bergamo and the historic Upper Town. There is a checkpoint along the way at Giangi's Bike at Erbusco. Around 50% of gravel, 50% of cycle paths and quiet roads. Ideal for a group of mixed ability or for anyone who wants to explore Bergamo without heading straight into the valleys.
Mathusalem – 600 km in 17,000 metres of elevation gain
The Jeroboam 600 is also called Methuselah ...as mentioned. Departure from the village on Friday evening at 8.30 pm. 600 km, 17,000 metres of elevation gain, self-sufficient, maximum 80 hours time. The route crosses Alpine passes such as the Gavia, Madonna di Campiglio and Tremalzo before you return to Bergamo. Live tracking is active during the journey.
So, just charge the lights and off you go.
Registration and rules
Registration is online only; you cannot register on the day. Important note: you choose your route when you register, and you can cannot be changed afterwards. Medical or mechanical assistance is not provided, apart from emergency SOS. Private support vehicles are not permitted. You will receive GPS tracks and a printed roadbook when you collect your starter pack at the village.
The early bird discount has now expired (it ran until 2 June), but registration is still open until the event. Since June 3rd, there has been a surcharge of €10. at all distances.
For those who want to take a broader view: there is also a 300 km bikepacking route on the calendar, scheduled for 26–27 September 2026, but that is a separate event with its own registration.
The Jeroboam has existed since 2017, when it began as a 300 km ride in Franciacorta. Since then, there have been editions in Spain, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and even Japan. For 2026, Bergamo will be the focal point.
