At Cycling Destination, we don't just talk about beautiful destinations, we think tips for on and off the bike are just as important. Like, for example, our basic packing list that you can use anytime, anywhere. We are there for you. Recently, we got some questions about relaxed and cycling-related clothing for after cycling, or just for everyday life. We picked some cool brands. Many are familiar, others new! Take advantage of our tips for relaxed casual clothing.

The Vandal
The guys from The Vandal have been making cool clothes for some time now, with a love for the course shining through. Clothing with a strong Flemish touch, but very stylish. There are beautiful designs for the leading women as well as the leading men. Not only shirts, but also trousers and more. The collection is available online and at selected retailers. Our favourite? Perhaps the 'Sofa Driver' for men and the 'Wheeler' shirt for the ladies.
Chef d'Equipe
It's always cool to see a new (casual) brand emerge. The guys from Chef d'Equipe also have a nice story. Actually just like Cois Cycling later in this article. The grandfather of co-founder Twan, Harrie van Gestel was the Chef d'Equipe of the Dutch Olympic team in 1984. He arranged everything, but the team finished miserably fourth, the most thankless place. Something about aerodynamic steering. Grandson Twan is now also in the cycling business with partner Laurens. Clothing with a wink and a motto: 'it's only fun when it's done'. We can't disagree with that. The beautiful shirt 'Paris is still far' may well be there for sure.
Cois Cycling
Also Tom Cools, founder of the Belgian brand Çois Cycling has taken his grandfather as his inspiration. His grandfather François Cools was a gifted rider, who was Belgian champion at a young age. Several titles at the highest level followed and in the 1950s and 1960s he was the Joop Zijlaard of racing. Gangmaker for the likes of Eddy Merckx and Van Springel. A great story. Our favourite in the collection? After our wonderful adventure at the Flandrien Hotel we have no choice but to accept the Flandrien and Flandrienne choose shirts. That said: the brand has an even wider range of cool shirts, jumpers and also performance clothes. Check it out!
La Machine
In this list, the Dutch La Machine not be missing. These stylish shirts and clothes always do the trick. Nice details, as in the most recent Paris-Roubaix shirt, where the buttons are made in the shapes of cobblestones. Really beautiful! The story behind this popular brand is local production and a love of racing. Next year (2023), this brand will celebrate its 10th anniversary. There is something to choose from for both women and men, although the women's collection is mainly 'performancewear'. I personally have the 'bib number 13' home, a lovely shirt. For the ladies, the 'let's get lost' sweatshirt looks like one to give as a gift!
