One of the most frequently asked questions we get is the question: do you have any tips for good accommodation in place x? Good accommodation then refers to a bike hotel, a b&b or an apartment where you can store your bike properly, clean it etc. Of course, we have the label Cycling Destination Approved. But we are far from complete yet, because we would like to see the destination in person as well. That’s why we have put together 10 other labels for bike hotels and bike accommodation for you. These labels are indispensable for planning your next cycling adventure.

1. Bett+BikeThis label, awarded by the German Bicycle Federation (ADFC), identifies accommodations that offer comprehensive facilities for cyclists, such as secure bike parking and repair facilities. 2. Home Cycling In France, the Accueil Vélo label guarantees that accommodations, tourist bureaus, and rental companies meet the needs of cyclists. In addition to secure parking and repair kits, these businesses also provide advice on local bike paths, making it easy for cyclists to explore the French landscapes. 3. Cyclists Welcome!This Dutch label indicates in hotels, restaurants, and cafes that offer bike-friendly facilities. Think of tools for minor repairs and information about local cycling routes. Participating locations cater to what some cyclists need. They ensure that their stay is as comfortable as possible. One of the reasons why the Netherlands is a top destination for cycling holidays, as we already knew, is that it offers a wide variety of activities for all ages.
4. Cyclists Welcome SchemeThis is a British initiative. It nicely illustrates the cyclist-friendly approach that can be found in many European countries. Accommodations that carry this label offer facilities such as drying rooms for clothing and equipment, secure bike parking, and route information, making them ideal for cyclists who want to explore the British countryside. 9. Cycling FriendlyThis certificate recognizes accommodations, routes, services, and events that excel in welcoming the cycling community. We have personally tried several Cycling Friendly I visited the locations and they are all a must-see!
