Part of Spain › Balearic Islands
Mallorca is one of Spain's most popular cycling destinations and the training camp of many professional teams. The varied landscape, good road network and pleasant climate make the island suitable for all levels of ability: from the Serra de Tramuntana to rolling hills and peaceful coastal paths.
The highlights
- Sa Calobra: the dizzying hairpin bends towards the sea, and then up again.
- Puig Major: with 1,445 meters, the highest point of the island, in the Serra de Tramuntana.
- Cap de Formentor: the longest climb from Port de Pollença, 17.7 km of flat terrain with a view over the sea.
- Hidden gem: the Coll des Pescadors in the east, quiet and unknown.
