Last week we were able to announce the partnership with Shimano and today we have great news again. Cycling Destination will collaborate with VisitWadden in 2022. Last year, we were already guests of the beautiful Wadden Region. Ruben and Rik then had a wonderful adventure describing the Wadden coast in all its beauty. For this year, we are taking it a step further again. What exactly are we going to do? Read on!

Basecamp Winsum
At the end of March, Ruben and Sander a few days towards the north of the Netherlands. From a real basecamp in Winsum (who would have ever thought...), we will go on three different routes riding. Two on road bikes, one on gravel bikes. It will in any case be a wonderful adventure in which the themes of sustainability and gastronomy will be in the foreground. We are already looking forward to the adventure and we assume it will not be the last time we will be in this region. We will focus on the province of Groningen and part of the province of Friesland. We will stay on the mainland. The islands will come later.
What is your added value?
What we do for VisitWadden is to map out beautiful, still unknown routes on the mainland of the Wadden (coastal) region. We make the region and its opportunities known to a larger, specific readership. We do this by writing articles during our adventure, instagram and Facebook posts/stories, by a supporting campaign and a year's guaranteed visibility for VisitWadden. For us, this is a wonderful way for Cycling Destination to partner with this beautiful, underexposed cycling region.
