In recent times we have been working hard behind the scenes on several partnerships for CyclingDestination. Therefore, we are also very pleased that we Shimano as new partner You are welcome to join our platform. Shimano has been a leader in the market for years. With the introduction of the new Dura-Ace and Ultegra groups, the leap to fully electronic shifting has been made, and beautiful innovations have also been applied in the GRX groups for gravel riders. With CyclingDestination, we want to inspire you to cycle even more and discover new things. That fits perfectly with Shimano’s mission statement: Closer to Nature, Closer to People. But what are we going to do together?
ULTEGRA AND GRX SERIES
In the coming time we will create a series of routes, connecting to the Shimano Service Centers (SSC) in the Netherlands and Belgium. We ride several routes using an SSC, both on the race bike (Ultegra series) and on the Gravelbike (GRX series). This way we show off the beauty of the region and if something should unfortunately go wrong with your bike, you can have it repaired right away at a Shimano Service Center on this route. We are currently busy planning, but one of the places we can already announce is that we are going to create a beautiful route from SPAAK in Groningen.

For us as a platform, this is another great step forward. Through this collaboration, we can offer you more inspiring content and add value to our partners. For us, it is also a recognition of the hard work we have put into the platform over the past year. It motivates us even more to continue on the path we have embarked on. This makes it really fun for us.
