Recently, we have been working hard behind the scenes on several partnerships for CyclingDestination. Therefore, we are also very happy to Shimano as new partner may join our platform. Shimano has been leading the market for years. With the introduction of the new Dura-Ace and Ultegra groups, the leap to full electronic shifting has been made and also in the GRX groups for gravel riders, nice innovations have been applied. With CyclingDestination, we want to inspire you to cycle and discover even more. That fits very nicely with Shimano's mission statement: Closer to Nature, Closer to People. But what will we do together?

ULTEGRA AND GRX SERIES

In the near future, we will create a series of routes, connecting with the Shimano Service Centres (SSC) in the Netherlands and Belgium. We ride several routes from an SSC, both on road bikes (Ultegra series) and Gravel bikes (GRX series). This way, we will showcase the beauty of the region and, in the unlikely event that something is wrong with your bike, you can have it repaired right away at a Shimano Service Centre near this route. We are busy planning right now, but one of the places we can already announce is that we will make a beautiful route from SPAAK in Groningen.

Beautiful collaboration

For us as a platform, this is another great step forward. Through this cooperation, we can bring you more inspiring content and add value for our partners. For us, it is also recognition of the hard work we have put into the platform over the past year. It motivates us even more to continue on this path. This makes it really fun for us.

Become a partner yourself?

Do you also see opportunities for your brand to join CyclingDestination? What are you waiting for? Several trips to home and abroad are planned in the coming year. For example, we will do a fantastic 'Ride with us' in Crans-Montana, we go from Basecamp Winsum to explore the beautiful Wadden Region explore further. We are in Spain, both in the south, in Gran Canaria and in the Basque Country. We go again to Italy and Austria is also in the planning. We are also looking at adventures in Eastern Europe with opportunities in Poland, Czech Republic and further south in Serbia and Greece. In short, we are going to do a lot of cycling in Europe.
