Due to an accident, I, SANDER, cannot do the ride. This has therefore been cancelled. The test day at SportBikeService with Superior Bikes will go ahead, however.
Gravel is all about freedom. About quiet paths, new routes, and a chance to get away from it all.
But surprisingly often you ride those most beautiful rides… alone.
And that is exactly what makes the difference.
Op June 6 we are organizing a social gravel ride from Landal Hellendoornse Berg, Together with SportBikeService Hellendoorn. No race, no pressure to perform — but a day focused on riding together, discovering, and enjoying.
The idea
No Strava segments that matter. No races, no board sprints. Just enjoying the ride.
We drive as a group, in a social speed (±20–22 km/h), about the most beautiful gravel tracks in the Sallandse Heuvelrug. Think of winding forest paths, open meadows and roads that you might normally pass by.
What can you expect?
- 80–90 km carefully marked gravel route
- Social, no-drop pace
- Coffee + something sweet in advance
- Beer & burger after the event
- A small group of like-minded gravel riders
We start off relaxed at Landal, take our time to get to know each other and then head up the hill together. After about four to five hours, we finish up at SportBikeService — where the ride turns into great stories, a drink, and that typical feeling of a successful day on the bike.
Why you should join
Because finding the right group isn't always easy.
Because a good route becomes even better when you share it.
Because not every ride has to be hard to be good.
