Gravel is about freedom. About quiet paths, new routes, and getting away from it all.
But it's striking how often you ride those most beautiful routes... alone.

And precisely that makes the difference.

Retrieved from 6 June we are organising a Social gravel ride from Landal Hill of Hellendoorn, together with SportBikeService Hellendoorn. No competition, no pressure to perform – but a day focused on riding together, discovering, and enjoying.

The idea
No Strava segments that matter. No racing, no sprints for signs. Just nice cycling.

We are riding as a group, in a social pace (±20–22 km/h), over de mooiste gravelstroken van de Salland Ridge. Think of winding forest paths, open moorland, and roads you might normally just drive past.

What can you expect?

  • 80–90 km carefully laid out gravel route
  • Social, no-drop pace
  • Coffee + something sweet beforehand
  • Beer and burger afterwards
  • A small group of like-minded gravel riders

We'll start our relaxed ride at Landal, take some time to get acquainted, and then tackle the ridge together. After about four to five hours, we'll finish at SportBikeService — where the ride turns into tall tales, a drink, and that typical feeling of a successful day on the bike.

Waarom je mee wilt

Because finding the right group doesn't happen automatically.
Because a good route is even better when it's shared.
Because not every ride needs to be hard to be good.

Good to know

The number of places is limited to maintain good group dynamics.
